About this recipe:
This dish requires marinating as part of the preparation process.
This chicken dish can be grilled, roasted, baked, pan fried, stir fried or barbecued and is suitable for chicken pieces or a whole chicken. The longer the chicken marinates, the less chilli heat you will get. If you would like more chilli heat, add a level teaspoon of YesChilli (or in cautious increments) to the chicken just before cooking.
Tip:
- Can be served with potatoes, rice, salad, pasta, vegetables etc or eaten on its own.
- Use chicken wings in this dish for a deliciously tasty snack.

Directions
1. Place the chicken in a large bowl.
2. Spoon the YesChilli and salt over the chicken.
3. Using a wooden spoon, mix and evenly coat the chicken with the YesChilli and salt.
4. Cover with clingfilm or a lid and place in the fridge for at least 4 hours to marinate. For a fuller flavour, I recommend leaving the chicken to marinate for a day or two before cooking.
5. Heat your oven to 190c (for non fan assisted ovens, adjust accordingly). Place the chicken in a non-stick oven tray in the upper part of the oven. Leave for 30 minutes or until cooked and crisp on the top.
